About the position
Douglas County West is seeking applications for various positions within its growing Class C1 school district, including a School Nurse, Assistant Band and Choir Teacher, Part-Time Van Driver, and a Middle School Special Education Para. Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to students and staff as needed.
- Assist in teaching music to students in band and choir.
- Drive students safely to and from school as a part-time van driver.
- Support special education students in their learning and daily activities.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license for the School Nurse position.
- Experience in music education for the Assistant Band and Choir Teacher.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record for the Part-Time Van Driver position.
- Experience working with special education students for the Middle School Special Education Para.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a school setting for any of the positions.
- First aid and CPR certification for the School Nurse.
- Ability to play multiple musical instruments for the Assistant Band and Choir Teacher.
