This role involves managing all bakery duties, implementing promotional displays, controlling shrink and expenses, and maintaining accurate records. The manager is responsible for ordering, inventory control, and ensuring proper merchandising and adherence to labeling laws and regulations. They also handle customer service, special orders, and suggestive selling. A key part of the role is supervising, motivating, training, and hiring department personnel, monitoring performance, and scheduling staff to ensure adequate coverage. The manager communicates sales goals and department performance to associates and resolves associate complaints, reporting serious policy violations to the Store Director. They are responsible for performing all job duties with honesty and integrity.
