About the position

As a Bakery Clerk at WinCo Foods, you will play a vital role in creating delightful experiences for customers by preparing and serving a variety of baked goods. This part-time position emphasizes friendly customer service, maintaining cleanliness in the bakery area, and ensuring the freshness and quality of products. Responsibilities

• Scale, mix, and bake various bakery goods.
• Maintain proper inventory levels of products.
• Ensure cleanliness and appearance of the bakery department meets standards.
• Provide friendly, courteous service to customers.
• Package all fresh products following packaging and handling procedures.
• Mix icing or other toppings and operate bakery equipment.
• Set up and ice cakes, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Label bakery items and display products attractively on shelves.
• Take customer orders and assist with inquiries regarding bakery items.
• Produce breads and rolls by following recipes and operating machines.

Requirements

• Ability to provide friendly, courteous service to customers.
• Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs and push/pull approximately 100 lbs.
• Ability to conduct visual inspections and follow production guides.
• Ability to perform basic math and compute weights and measures.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Handlers Certification (as per state laws).
