About The Position
Denny's 5th Avenue Bakery is currently looking for two full-time bakers. The starting hours for these positions are approximately 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
Requirements
- Basic math skills
- Ability to speak English
- Ability to read English

Responsibilities
- Checks production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake.
- Measures and mixes ingredients to form dough or batter by hand or using electric mixer(s).
- Cuts dough into uniform portions with knife or divider.
- Molds dough into loaves or desired shapes.
- Places shaped dough in greased or floured pans.
- Spreads or sprinkles topping such as sesame seeds, poppy seeds, onions on specialties.
- Places pans of dough in proof box to rise.
- Insert pans of raised dough in oven to bake.
- Adjusts drafts or thermostatic controls to regulate oven temperature.
- Removes baked goods from oven and places goods on cooling rack.
- Bakes bread products.
