About the position
The AWS DevOps SRE role is focused on managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure using AWS and related tools. The position requires extensive experience in DevOps practices, with a strong emphasis on automation, monitoring, and scripting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various tools and technologies essential for maintaining and improving cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using monitoring solutions.
- Develop scripts for automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment processes.
- Utilize configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in DevOps.
- 4 years of hands-on experience with AWS.
- 1 year of experience with Kubernetes.
- 2 years of experience with Terraform.
- 4 years of experience with Jenkins.
- Experience with Linux/Windows administration is a plus.
- 2 years of experience with configuration management tools, preferably Ansible.
- Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with monitoring solutions.
Nice-to-haves
- AWS Certification is an added advantage.
- Experience with migration using AWS cloud native tools like MGN and CMF.
