About the position

The Issuer Services Ops Tampa Hub is responsible for performing contractual obligation activities for over 300 contracts across various Latin American countries, including Panama, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, and Argentina. The business handles a diverse range of contracts, each tailored to meet client needs, and requires candidates to have a comprehensive understanding of the unique regulations in each country. Candidates must be adept at learning different systems relevant to their responsibilities and should be prepared for a short learning curve due to the complex and dynamic nature of the business. The role involves close collaboration with the team to ensure accurate execution of processes and activities on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

  • Independently administer and manage LATAM Agency & Trust Operational activities end-to-end.
  • Perform and ensure correct operational deal implementation and termination activities related to the Agency & Trust product.
  • Ensure correct payments/transfers for Agency & Trust area in compliance with agreements.
  • Produce local regulatory reports required by regulators on time.
  • Ensure correct billing processes for services provided.
  • Ensure performance of collateral obligations according to contract rules.
  • Support Front & Middle Office and internal areas related to client demands.
  • Provide metrics and controls related to all activities performed.
  • Ensure integrity of information and obligations of contracts in the system.
  • Utilize Issuer Services Core system for daily activities.
  • Lead projects to improve processes and reduce risks.
  • Work on holidays and at different time zones.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or Legal.
  • Experience in Agency and Trust business in a financial institution or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is desirable.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an Operations Team.
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience managing a group of people.
  • Experience interacting with all levels of personnel.
  • Experience in giving presentations and effective communication.
