About the position

As a Customer Greeter at Avis Budget Group, you will play a vital role in enhancing the travel experience for our customers at airport locations. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a high-energy environment and enjoy interacting with people. Your primary responsibilities will include managing customer lines, directing customers to the appropriate locations within the operation, and answering any questions they may have. This outdoor role requires a proactive approach to customer service, ensuring that each customer feels welcomed and informed throughout their journey with us. In this position, you will be expected to stand, walk, and move throughout the rental lot for extended periods, as well as drive a variety of vehicles. Flexibility in working hours is essential, as you may be required to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. The role does not allow for remote work, as regular on-site presence is necessary to fulfill the responsibilities effectively. You will receive on-the-job training to equip you with the skills needed to excel in this role, and you will be part of a supportive team that values performance and collaboration. Responsibilities

  • Assist customers at airport locations
  • Manage customer lines and direct customers to the right location
  • Answer customer questions to improve their travel experience
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Stand, walk, or move throughout the rental lot for continuous periods
  • Drive a variety of vehicles as needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Basic computer skills (typing, data entry)
  • Willingness to work outdoors
  • Flexibility to work all shifts
  • Must be able to stand, walk or move throughout rental lot for continuous periods
  • Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
  • 6 months retail customer service experience in a fast-paced environment is a bonus
