About the position

The Line Services Technician is responsible for providing essential services to aircraft and customers at the airport, including fueling, oil servicing, and handling luggage. This full-time position requires interaction with aircraft crews and passengers, ensuring their needs are met while maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the ramp and hangar areas. The role involves various operational tasks and requires physical stamina due to the nature of the work.

Responsibilities

• Drive and service fuel trucks and ground support vehicles.
• Service aircraft and ground support vehicles, including operating and filling fuel trucks.
• Park, tow, and store aircraft according to the Company's Hangar Storage Policy.
• Direct the movement of aircraft and vehicular traffic on the ramp and hangars.
• Secure all parked aircraft at all times.
• Assist aircraft crews and passengers by providing necessary services.
• Wash, polish, wax, and clean the interior and exterior of aircraft as directed.
• Clean mobile equipment and run local errands.
• Transport people as required on and off the airport.
• Maintain cleanliness in and around the Company's facilities, including FBO building and hangar floors.
• Assist with snow removal as required.
• Handle radio and telephone calls, relaying information to the proper department or individual.
• Complete necessary receipts, fuel tickets, and record sales transactions during the shift.
• De-ice aircraft according to specified standards.
• Load and unload baggage on and off the aircraft.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some college preferred.
• 1 year of experience in aviation required.
• Ability to relocate to Gallatin, TN before starting work.
