About the position

The AV/Integrator Sales Representative at HT Install is responsible for driving sales of home automation and security solutions. This role involves generating leads, building client relationships, and closing sales to contribute to the company's revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in relevant technologies and a proven sales track record.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities by identifying and contacting potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Present and demonstrate HT Install's products and services to prospective clients.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure seamless implementation of sold solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to effectively communicate product benefits to clients.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote HT Install's offerings.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in one or more of the following areas: home automation control systems (Control4), security systems, WiFi and network solutions, wireless audio, window treatments, lighting control, burglar alarms, access control, and commercial installations.
  • Strong understanding of home automation and security technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
