Responsibilities

  • Work with engineering team to complete drawing reviews
  • Oversee and support multiple projects occurring simultaneously
  • Review project requirements and schedule remote & onsite support time to complete projects in a timely fashion
  • Support Project Managers and Engineers regarding project specific technical requirements
  • Participate in engineering discussions
  • QC systems installed by others (i.e. subcontractors, etc.)
  • Train clients on use of AV Systems
  • Stage AV systems in-house as needed
  • Support install team in installation of systems as needed
  • Crimp, solder, wire pull, label, terminate, and other technical tasks associated with AV systems
  • Fabricate AV systems in the field and in-house as needed
  • Installation of AV equipment
  • Installing and labeling equipment into racks
  • Dressing cables in racks, under tables, in credenzas, in lecterns/podiums etc.
  • Labeling and Terminating cables both in and out of racks
  • Documentation of equipment (i.e. Serial Numbers, MAC addresses, IP Addresses, etc.)
  • Inventory control and Chain of Custody
  • Read and markup project documents
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Configure, Load, test and troubleshoot control systems programming
  • Write, load, and tweak DSP files
  • Write, load, and test basic configurable systems
  • Work closely with the programmer (whether in-house or sub-contractor)
  • Troubleshoot and repair newly installed and existing custom AV systems
  • Provide detailed daily reports of work completed and open Punch-List items
  • Read, understand and follow any consultant documentation
  • Use hand and power tools
  • Safe use of ladders, scaffolding, and lifts
  • Lift heavy and bulky equipment
  • Understand and meet all deadlines
  • Resolve all customer service issues with management
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
  • Work to achieve 100% customer satisfaction 100% of the time
  • Full compliance with company’s policies and procedures
  • Giving excellent customer service through a professional attitude
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by management

Requirements

  • Avixa CTS certification
  • Minimum of one year of AV experience
  • Proficient with computers, including audiovisual applications (AMX, Crestron, Extron, QSC, Poly, Biamp, etc.)
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Ability to work flexible hours with periodic domestic and international travel
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proven multitasking skills and can work under extreme pressures
  • Solid soldering skills
  • Valid US Passport
