About The Position

The Automotive Technician is the second level within the Hertz Corporation for our maintenance team. In this role you will be performing preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and inspection. Hertz is a world leader in the car rental industry and is seeking energetic team players to join their team.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
At minimum one (1) years of vehicle maintenance experience
Must have tools to perform necessary repairs
Must have a Valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

Preferred prior experience with automotive repair (personal or professional)
ASE Certification's preferred
Must be able to perform vehicle repairs with oversight
Ability to use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools

Responsibilities

Performing preventative maintenance
Performing minor repairs
Performing inspections

Benefits

Hourly rate is $24.00
Overtime Pay: Eligible
Holiday Pay: Eligible (1.5 x regular pay rate for hours worked on a designated holiday, in addition to receiving 8 hours of holiday pay)
Sick Pay: Granted
Up to 48 hours Paid Time Off / Vacation / Paid observed Holidays (Accruals start at .83 Days a Month, 4 Floating Holidays, 9 Paid Observed Holidays)
