About the position

As an Automotive Repair Technician B at AAA Club Alliance, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for performing a variety of automotive repairs and diagnostics. This position offers a competitive compensation package that is recognized as one of the best in the industry, including a 20 Billable Hour Guarantee per week and a productivity incentive that allows you to earn up to an additional $1,100 per month. Our full-time technicians work a total of five days each week, typically required to work on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays, while enjoying Sundays off and an additional day off during the week based on business needs. In this role, you will be expected to perform repairs including suspension and steering diagnosis and repair, brakes diagnosis and repair (including ABS/traction control), electrical diagnosis and repair, and heating and air conditioning diagnosis and repairs. It is essential to maintain a strong knowledge of general automotive skills and to continuously develop additional technical skills to ensure flexibility in work assignments. You will be working in a supportive environment that values your contributions and provides opportunities for professional growth. To succeed in this position, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent, along with the ability to accurately repair vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic equipment. You should have a minimum of three years of experience as an automotive technician, and hold National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or car dealer certification in at least three categories, including Suspension and Steering, Brakes, and Heating and Air Conditioning. If you do not currently hold these certifications, you will be expected to attain them within 12 months of hire. Additionally, a valid driver's license and the ability to lift a maximum of 75 lbs while standing for prolonged periods are required. You will also need to complete satisfactory pre-employment screenings, including a background check, drug screening, and fitness for duty assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform suspension and steering diagnosis and repair.
  • Conduct brakes diagnosis and repair, including ABS/traction control.
  • Execute electrical diagnosis and repair.
  • Handle heating and air conditioning diagnosis and repairs.
  • Maintain knowledge of general automotive skills and develop additional technical skills.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to accurately repair vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic equipment.
  • Three years of experience as an automotive technician.
  • National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or car dealer certification in at least three categories, including Suspension and Steering, Brakes, and Heating and Air Conditioning.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 75 lbs and stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to complete satisfactory Pre-Employment Screenings (background check, drug screening, fitness for duty assessment).
  • Authorized to work in the USA.
