About the position
AAA Club Alliance is actively hiring for an experienced full-time Automotive Technician with a State Inspection License. The position involves performing various automotive repairs and diagnostics, including engine repair, gas and diesel repair, automatic and manual transmission diagnosis and repair, brakes diagnosis and repair, electrical diagnosis and repair, and heating and air conditioning diagnosis and repair. The starting base compensation for this position is $29.07 to $40.81 hourly, with a 30-hour guarantee per week and no Sundays required. Additionally, there is a monthly incentive bonus of up to $1,100.
Responsibilities
- Perform engine repair, gas and diesel repair
- Diagnose and repair automatic transmission/transaxle
- Diagnose and repair manual transmission/suspension and steering
- Diagnose and repair brakes, including ABS/traction control
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems
- Diagnose and repair heating and air conditioning systems
- Diagnose and repair engine performance issues
Requirements
- Ability to accurately repair vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic equipment
- Completion of six (6) years as an automotive technician
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or car dealer certification as a 'Master Automotive Technician', or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Ability to attain required certifications within 12 months of hire
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to lift a maximum of 75 pounds and stand for prolonged periods
- Satisfactory screening results including criminal, drug, and motor vehicle checks
Nice-to-haves
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) L1 certification is preferred
