About the position

The Automotive Parts Sorter position at Element2 Group involves sorting, organizing, and preparing automotive parts for inventory, shipping, and distribution. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment, contributing to the overall operation and organization of the inventory system.

Responsibilities

  • Sort and organize automotive parts according to product type, size, model, and other specifications.
  • Accurately label and categorize parts to ensure correct identification and easy retrieval.
  • Work with warehouse management to maintain an organized inventory system and ensure parts are stored properly.
  • Prepare and pack automotive parts for shipping, ensuring items are securely packaged and labeled correctly.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas to ensure a safe and efficient sorting process.
  • Assist with stock taking and inventory counts as required.
  • Follow safety guidelines and warehouse procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure timely processing and delivery of parts.
  • Help in the unloading and loading of parts from delivery trucks or containers as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required by the warehouse or logistics supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant experience).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts is an advantage but not required.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry items up to [X] lbs (weight specific to job requirements).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management is a plus.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Nice-to-haves

Benefits

  • Full-time position with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.
  • Expected hours of 40 per week with an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday.
