About the position
The Automotive Manufacturing and Machining position involves the assembly and machining of various ATV and vehicle parts in a climate-controlled environment. The role emphasizes maintaining high-quality standards and on-time delivery to customers, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Machining and/or assembling production parts while maintaining 100% quality.
- Understanding and adhering to safety protocols and wearing correct PPE at all times.
- Demonstrating a good understanding of production-related documentation such as Operation Sheets and Kan Ban.
- Maintaining process flow for machining/assembling parts based on specific procedures.
- Performing quality check inspections including measuring part dimensions as required.
- Labeling boxes with individual packing numbers for outgoing inspected parts.
- Consistently producing 100% quality parts and identifying abnormal situations.
- Achieving target efficiencies and increasing technical knowledge of the work cell.
- Demonstrating good housekeeping and understanding of TPM by checking fluid levels in machines.
Requirements
- Good math skills and reasoning ability.
- Good communication skills.
- Six months to one year of previous factory/manufacturing experience preferred.
