About the position
The Finance & Insurance Manager at Marine Chevrolet is responsible for ensuring profitability in both the new and used vehicle departments while promoting customer retention. This role involves managing the finance and insurance processes, maintaining strong relationships with lending institutions, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The manager is expected to uphold high ethical standards and demonstrate excellent customer and employee relations skills.
Responsibilities
- Offer vehicle automotive financing and insurance to clients with thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties
- Maintain good working relationships with lending institutions to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs
- Process financing and leasing deals accurately via Tekion
- Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations applicable to the automotive sector
- Ensure timely cash flow with the collections of contracts in transit
- Maintain customer satisfaction scores at or above company standards
- Take ownership and accountability on departmental initiatives
- Attend regular manager meetings
- Work in collaboration with other departments to accomplish company goals
- Assist in properly resolving client and employee concerns
Requirements
- Has a track record in maintaining or exceeding profitability, controlling expenses, and maintaining customer satisfaction and retention
- Requires strong follow-up skills
- Requires strong communication skills
- Complies with all federal, state and local sale regulations and guidelines
- Submits and completes a successful background check and pre-employment drug screen
