About the position
As a QA Test Lead at Infosys, you will serve as a validation and quality assurance expert, responsible for reviewing the functionality of existing systems. Your role will involve conducting requirement analysis, defining test strategies, and leading execution to ensure high-quality outcomes. You will design optimal test environments to simulate real-time scenarios and collaborate with top industry talent to deliver innovative, defect-free solutions that meet client needs. Responsibilities
- Act as a validation and quality assurance expert to review existing systems' functionality.
- Conduct requirement analysis and define test strategy and design.
- Lead execution of testing to guarantee superior outcomes.
- Design optimal test environments to simulate real-time scenarios.
- Collaborate with team members to create innovative, high-quality solutions.
- Communicate with business, development teams, and project managers.
- Liaise with clients during UAT and present end-to-end testing results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle.
- Experience with Lean/Agile development methodologies.
- At least 4 years of experience in QA Testing.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance testing of software applications and testing tools.
- At least 2 years of experience in Test Automation using Selenium, including framework maintenance and optimization.
- Experience in testing API/web services.
- Ability to write complex SQL and DB2 queries.
- Experience with testing tools like JIRA, Test Director, HPALM, and automation tools like TOSCA, Cypress, Selenium.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in performing Build Verification Test, Functional Verification Test, Smoke test, Regression test, Integration test, and Ad-hoc test.
- Experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of estimation methodologies and quality processes.
