About the position
As an Automation Technician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and operating automation systems throughout the Marcellus Basin region. You will provide both day to day support and preventive maintenance to critical equipment utilized at various field locations including well sites, compressor stations, tank batteries and salt water disposals. As a technician, you must have an understanding of industrial communication equipment and systems, including PLC programming and configurations, within an oil and gas production environment.
Responsibilities
- Install automation systems in the Marcellus Basin region.
- Maintain and troubleshoot automation systems and equipment.
- Provide day-to-day support for critical equipment at field locations.
- Perform preventive maintenance on automation systems and equipment.
- Understand and work with industrial communication equipment and systems.
Requirements
- Experience with PLC programming and configurations.
- Knowledge of automation systems in an oil and gas production environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain critical equipment.
