About the position

The Automation Account Manager at Mesa Energy Systems, a subsidiary of EMCOR Group, is responsible for driving sales growth through prospecting new accounts and managing existing client relationships. This role involves developing sales presentations, maintaining client pricing and payments, and participating in industry events to enhance client engagement and service offerings. The position requires a strong focus on achieving sales targets while adhering to established sales processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting for new accounts and maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Developing and delivering sales presentations to clients.
  • Managing client pricing, payments, and accounts receivable (A/R).
  • Participating in industry and trade shows to promote services.
  • Cultivating relationships with prospective clients at various organizational levels.
  • Preparing client proposals and estimates using standard templates and pricing models.
  • Maintaining an accurate sales funnel using a CRM tool and participating in forecasting activities.
  • Collaborating with the Director of Sales and team members to improve sales programs and processes.
  • Attending product and sales training events for professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a technical discipline is desired.
  • 3+ years of technical commercial/industrial automation experience.
  • 2+ years of commercial/industrial automation sales experience is desired.
  • Experience in designing, selling, and installing Distech Controls, Johnson Controls, Delta Controls is desired.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure including network topology, RAID data storage, IoT, and cybersecurity is desired.
  • Strong customer presentation skills and sales aptitude are required.
  • Financial acumen inclusive of cost modeling for sales proposals is required.
  • Experience in developing technical and cost proposals is required.
  • Experience working with a CRM tool is required.
  • Strong computer skills using MS Office, particularly Excel, are required.
