About the position
This position involves utilizing analytical skills to create comprehensive estimates of damages for both 1st and 3rd party material damage claims, ensuring proper disposition. The role is territory-specific, ideally suited for candidates located in the Lake Gaston, Rocky Mount, or Roanoke Rapids, NC area, and emphasizes exemplary service in the auto industry.
Responsibilities
- Applies thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
- Builds established relationships with both internal and external customers
- Exhibits proficient estimating fundamentals to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses
- Processes a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
- Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments, and documents all activities in the file within escalated authority limits
Requirements
- 4 year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- 2 or more years of experience (Preferred)
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the above education requirements.
