About the position

The AutoCAD Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings for high-end cabinetry projects using AutoCAD software. This role combines technical expertise with creative problem-solving to ensure precision and efficiency in project execution. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with designers and production managers to translate design concepts into actionable plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed and accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software, cut lists, and production documentation for cabinetry projects.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and the shop manager to translate design concepts into actionable plans and ensure seamless integration into the production process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to construction drawings.
• Stay current with updates and new features in AutoCAD software and implement best practices to maximize its capabilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Engineer or a similar role in a high-end cabinetry or woodworking environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software, including design, configuration, and documentation features.
• Strong understanding of cabinetry construction, materials, and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot software and design issues effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with designers, production teams, and clients.
• Knowledge of custom cabinetry manufacturing processes and techniques.
