About the position

The Authentics Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the Texas Rangers' authentic merchandise, which includes autographed, game-used, and collectible memorabilia. This position involves overseeing the fulfillment of online auction orders, coordinating with retail outlets, and ensuring that the needs of various departments are met. The coordinator is also responsible for maintaining high levels of customer service and managing the operations of the Authentics location during home games.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the Club's authentic merchandise operations.
• Manage the implementation, creation, and fulfillment of online auction orders.
• Supervise Authentics location(s) including setup, sales, and staff management.
• Support the Director in merchandise/retail operations of authenticated merchandise.
• Assist in creating monthly revenue and inventory reports.
• Coordinate with authorized retail outlets.
• Maintain concierge level service for customers.
• Coordinate product needs for other departments and track shipments.
• Provide introductory information to new customers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with products or services.
• Advise customers about additional products or services.
• Provide quick and effective responses to customer inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a similar field preferred.
• 1-2 years of retail experience in sports or a related field.
• Strong sports memorabilia experience.
• Excellent communication, computer, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of the history of baseball and Texas Rangers baseball is a plus.
• Background in project management and business/marketing acumen.
• Ability to work long hours, holidays, and weekends.
