About The Position

As a Room Attendant, you will ensure that our rooms and suites are always fresh and welcoming for our guests. You will create a haven for them to escape and relax in, or get some last-minute work done. Requirements

Physical fitness is important as the role is physical and requires being on your feet most of the day.
Strength is required, with occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and/or pushing/pulling heavy objects.
Ability to bend and kneel to complete some activities.
Literacy skills including reading, writing, and basic math skills.
Flexible attitude to shifts, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a luxury hotel environment.

Responsibilities

Ensure rooms are always at their best, making them special and memorable for guests.
Assist guests with requests such as toothbrushes or directions.
Keep supervisor updated on room service progress and alert them to any needed repairs.
Follow established safety procedures and wear protective equipment when needed.
Stay organized, manage supplies and amenities, and minimize waste.
Reunite lost and found items with their owners and log all lost property.
Maintain a smart appearance by wearing the uniform with pride.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
Monitor and control supplies and amenities, minimizing waste within all areas of housekeeping.
Report, turn in, and/or log all lost and found items according to established procedures.
Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service.
May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
May have turndown duties.
May assist with other duties as assigned.
