About The Position
This role involves manual software testing for ATM systems. The tester will be responsible for planning, documenting, and executing tests, as well as troubleshooting and documenting defects. A key aspect of the role is the ability to assess and test Epics and Stories within an agile framework. The position requires the tester to be physically present in a test lab five days a week to test ATM software on hardware devices. This includes installing software, preparing data, and identifying and communicating issues with the test environment.
Requirements
- Understanding of agile and the tester's role in the process.
Responsibilities
- Plan and document tests.
- Execute tests and troubleshoot issues to narrow the resulting problem.
- Document defects and issues while providing due diligence.
- Assess and test (groom) Epics and Stories in an agile process.
- Document test plans and test cases/scripts.
- Be onsite in a test lab 5 days per week to test ATM software on hardware devices.
- Execute and document results of testing which includes troubleshooting and reducing defects to their most succinct steps.
- Perform installations of software.
- Condition data.
- Assess and communicate test environmental issues.
