Requirements

Coaching experience
Strong organizational skills
An understanding of youth athletics
Strong communication skills
The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

Oversee and run our after-school athletics program, including coaching seasonal sports teams and coordinating practices and games.
Provide overall support and oversight for our athletics program, including coordinating and managing the outside vendors and organizations that will provide athletic programming at the school.
Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
Monitor children’s progress and development
Create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day
Help lead innovative learning activities that promote children’s development and growth
Scheduling practices and games, communicating with families and coaches, and working effectively with school-aged children.
Ensure consistency, organization, and quality across all aspects of our athletics programming.
Interact with parents and other staff members.
