AT Sr Mgr Digital Finance Systems

About the position

This position will lead the development of the financial system for the new Honeywell Aerospace Business. The roles immediate focus will be to setup a new EPM environment using a clone and cleanse strategy leveraging the following Hyperion technologies: Essbase, Hyperion Planning, FDMEE, EHM and CXO Cockpit. The role will require strong mix of technical and functional skills, as it will require working directly with finance stakeholders and users while delivering technical solutions. Role will require management and development of a resources, plus hands on development work to meet deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Working with Finance stakeholders to document clear functional requirements
• Working with IT to translate functional requirements into clear technical requirements when necessary
• Project management activities such as scoping level of work, and building technical project plans and timelines
• Prepare key deliverables such as requirements documents, design documents, development inventory, test documentation, training materials and administration/procedural guides
• Design and implement technical solutions
• Partner with O&M team to ensure consistent solutions and clean hand-overs
• Working with both finance leaders and IT to test and refine new solutions prior to implementation
• Provide leadership and support to the business FP&A teams and leverage skills training and sharing of best practices
• Provide excellent change management skills and passion and tenacity to make it happen

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience working with Finance Systems

Nice-to-haves

• Good understanding of business and FP&A roles and key finance processes
• Significant hands-on experience with Essbase, HFM, FDMEE, EHM, Hyperion planning and reporting applications
• Strong communication skills
• Effective program and project management skills
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize (broad perspective, cutting edge thinking) and execute (breaking down barriers)
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team to accomplish goals and objectives
• Experience leading multi dimension, multi-function projects
• Strong business acumen and Finance Planning and Analysis expertise
