At Westport Animal Clinic, we are a full-service veterinary clinic that never turns a pet away. We offer a wide range of services, including wellness and preventative care, dental services, surgery, in-house diagnostics, geriatric care, nutrition and behavioral counseling, and urgent care. Our highly qualified and experienced staff take pride in offering personalized attention to every patient, client, and family we serve. We are looking for full-time veterinarians who are compassionate, team players, and strong communicators. We are open to supporting experienced associate veterinarians or providing an excellent mentorship program for new or recent graduates. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality veterinary care to pets
- Build relationships with clients and their pets
- Participate in wellness and preventative care
- Perform dental services and surgeries
- Conduct in-house diagnostics
- Offer geriatric care, nutrition, and behavioral counseling
- Provide urgent care as needed
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
- Active veterinary state license
- Current DEA License (or obtained upon hire for some hospitals)
- USDA Accreditation (or obtained upon hire for some hospitals)
