About the position
The Associate Veterinarian position at our well-established veterinary practice in New Caney, TX, offers a unique opportunity for both new graduates and experienced veterinarians. The role involves working with a diverse range of animals, including companion animals, horses, and livestock, while providing high-quality veterinary services. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive examinations and vaccinations for various animal species.
- Conduct health screenings and in-house laboratory testing.
- Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures, including extensive dentistry and orthopedic repairs.
- Collaborate with a team of veterinarians and support staff to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Make quick and decisive decisions in a clinical setting.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- State veterinary license to practice in Texas.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work with a variety of animal species, including large and small animals.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in mixed animal practice is preferred but not mandatory.
