This position is contingent upon contract award. The Associate Professor of Aerospace Science will be responsible for instructing cadets in Aerospace Studies in accordance with AFROTC curriculum guidance, academic syllabi, and Department of the Air Force training requirements. This includes teaching cadets about Air Force structure, mission, doctrine, leadership, customs, operations, tactics, and policies. The role involves conducting classroom, laboratory, and off-site training, evaluating student performance, and supporting cadet leadership development events, professional military training, and physical fitness programs. Additionally, the position assists with administering tests, preparing cadets for field training, monitoring academic progress, and performing administrative actions related to cadet personnel, enrollment, scholarships, and records management. Resource management, operational support, recruiting, outreach, and continuous improvement initiatives are also key aspects of this role.
