About The Position

SiriusXM and its brands are leading a new era of audio entertainment and services by delivering the most compelling subscription and ad-supported audio entertainment experience for listeners. The Pathways Program is an early-career development program designed for recent graduates of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). As a Pathways Associate, you will participate in a year-long program focused on accelerating career advancement through mentorship, networking, and learning and development opportunities. Upon completion of the program, Pathways Alumni continue building their careers in their current roles as they Go Higher at SiriusXM. We’re looking for a motivated, creatively driven, and highly organized Pathways: Associate Producer, Comedy & Entertainment Programming to join our team with a particular interest in Comedy/Entertainment Programming. In this role, you will help produce, ingest, edit, and curate content across our Comedy channels (including Kevin Hart's LOL Radio, Netflix Is A Joke, and Raw Comedy) as well as work on live and taped radio shows and podcasts on our Entertainment channels. The ideal candidate is passionate about stand-up, pop culture, and emerging comedic voices, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative media environment.

Requirements

Must be a recent graduate from an accredited HBCU (Within the last 2 years, or expected to graduate by June 2026)
Experience in radio, podcast, or audio production preferred, including internships and college radio
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Ability to work under pressure with high profile talent
Strong interest and knowledge of current events and pop culture
Impeccable attention to detail in all areas of work
Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment
Be a great communicator
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Audio editing experience (ex. Adobe Audition, ProTools) is a plus
Ability to run a live studio board a plus

Responsibilities

Support daily production of live and pre-recorded comedy programming.
Assist in booking comedians, writers, and guests, coordinating schedules and preparing show materials.
Research trending topics, viral moments, and cultural conversations to inform show segments.
Develop segment ideas, write outlines, prep notes, and assist hosts with show preparation.
Edit audio content using digital audio workstations (e.g., Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Zetta).
Prepare and publish show clips for on-demand, social, and digital platforms in collaboration with marketing teams.
Coordinate with talent, agents, and internal departments to ensure smooth production workflows.
Monitor live broadcasts and troubleshoot production issues in real time.
Maintain production calendars, rundowns, and show archives.
