About the position

The Associate - Practice Management role at Baker Tilly is designed to support the Practice Management Team by handling various operational processes and tactical needs. This generalist position allows managers to focus on higher-value tasks by providing essential support across multiple facets of business operations, client management, and technology integration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide backup support for job requisition requests, both domestic and offshore.
  • Oversee and support the client acceptance process, including engagement letters and client contracts.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for client acceptance queries and escalations, partnering with a manager when necessary.
  • Manage the creation and oversight of BT Live development, Teams site, Smartsheet, PowerBI, and Sharepoint sites.
  • Support execution of business line and practice process alignment in conjunction with support team members.
  • Provide guidance on practice functions including engagement letters and client/project data mapping.
  • Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly data audits to ensure data cleanliness and compliance with firm expectations.
  • Support client delivery team members with ad hoc requests regarding firm systems and data.
  • Participate in methodology development and standardization efforts, managing project plans and assisting with template development.
  • Support due diligence efforts for clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Provide hands-on support for pilots of new technology solutions and technology enablement efforts.
  • Utilize firm reporting tools for ad hoc analysis creation and report building to support practice needs.
  • Assist in coordination and delivery of team member onboarding and training sessions.
  • Provide design development and formatting support for training materials.
  • Assist with the development of training around internal team quality control processes.
  • Support business line with community of practices updates and practice goal-setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce and Intapp.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as PowerBI and Smartsheet.
  • Previous experience in a professional services environment.
