About the position

The Associate Marketing Strategist (AMS) will support the Marketing Strategist(s) in developing and executing regional marketing initiatives and events for the New York, CT, and tristate area. This role involves creating multichannel marketing strategies, managing corporate events, and ensuring alignment with business targets and demographics.

Responsibilities

  • Form deep partnerships with advisors to create multichannel marketing strategies aligned with business targets.
  • Plan, organize, and execute a variety of corporate events, including meetings, conferences, seminars, and luxury experiences.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for advisors and senior marketing strategists to understand objectives and ensure their vision is realized.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, including venues, caterers, AV technicians, and decorators.
  • Handle all logistical aspects of events, such as transportation, accommodation, registration, and on-site management.
  • Manage and organize volunteers to ensure seamless execution of all event activities.
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise during planning and execution phases to ensure successful events.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, measure success, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for innovation by leveraging existing technology and driving process improvement.
  • Track KPIs and ROI, reporting on the effectiveness of all activities, including budget management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an event planner or coordinator, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically.
  • 3+ years previous experience in a marketing/events role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and preferably experienced with Salesforce.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 year of marketing experience (preferred).
