About the position

The AMD will lead Kroll's Microsoft Security business, acting as a strategic partner to the CIO and/or CISO. This role involves providing expert guidance on secure authentication, authorization, and governance solutions, assessing security risks, and implementing robust security measures to protect clients from cyber threats using Microsoft technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive security assessments of clients' cloud, enterprise, and operational technology environments.
  • Develop roadmaps, strategies, and implementation plans for identified risks and requirements leveraging Microsoft cybersecurity tools.
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures leveraging Microsoft cybersecurity technologies.
  • Provide expert advice on cybersecurity best practices, risk management, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Assist clients in developing and executing remediation plans related to incident response and disaster recovery.
  • Translate personas, user journeys, and requirements from client business stakeholders into relevant security solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance clients' understanding of cybersecurity and promote a culture of security awareness.
  • Stay current with the latest trends, threats, and technologies in Microsoft cybersecurity technology.
  • Lead and mentor the Microsoft cyber team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of security professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • Deep understanding of Active Directory and Entra ID.
  • Experience across Microsoft cybersecurity capabilities (Defender, Entra, Intune, Purview, Sentinel).
  • Experience with security in cloud environments (AWS, Azure/Entra/Microsoft 365, GCP).
  • Experience with security technologies relevant to enterprise and OT environments.
  • Proficiency in network security, threat analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GICSP) are preferred.
