About the position
The University of Iowa's Tippie College of Business is seeking applications for one or more faculty positions at the Associate or Full Professor level in the Department of Business Analytics, starting August 2025. The department is looking for candidates with expertise in various fields related to Business Analytics, particularly those who can enhance its focus on healthcare analytics. The successful candidates will contribute to both graduate and undergraduate programs, engaging in research and teaching that bridges multiple disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the graduate and undergraduate programs in Business Analytics.
- Engage in research in the field of Business Analytics, particularly in healthcare analytics.
- Develop and teach courses related to Business Analytics and its applications.
- Collaborate with local, national, and Fortune 500 companies to enhance student learning.
- Participate in departmental activities, including hosting conferences and competitions.
Requirements
- PhD in Business Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Engineering, Informatics/Information Sciences, Logistics, Management Science, Operations Management/Supply Chain, Statistics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in Business Analytics or related disciplines.
- A strong record of research and publications in relevant fields.
- Experience in teaching at the university level.
