Raytheon – Advanced EO/IR Solutions (AES) within the Advanced Products and Solutions Strategic Business Unit is seeking an Associate Director of Program Management to lead the Niagara Falls Auxiliary Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) part of the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) program. This program is part of a strategic capture for the business that is developing key discriminators for a competitive down-select award. Niagara Falls is part of a rapidly growing franchise of programs developing advanced EOIR technology. The Niagara Falls Auxiliary LRUs Program Manager will lead and manage the day-to-day program execution for the major procured LRUs for the Niagara Falls EMD program, which is a complex, classified development program focused on implementing innovative, advanced technologies for next generation capabilities. The PM will be responsible for leadership of the design and procurement of multiple major subsystems as part of a large, multi-phase program with a complex security environment, multiple major subcontractors and internal performers and driving performance across the matrix to ensure business success. The program manager will report to the Niagara Falls Program Director to help drive program success and capture future phases. This position is onsite in McKinney, TX.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years’ experience
  • Experience in Program/Project Management, Operations Management, Cost Account Management, Systems Engineering, or Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL)
  • Experience working development programs
  • Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance for programs with use of program management resources such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, scope management, or similar business processes
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start

  • Technical knowledge of Electro-optical / Infrared Systems and/or similar technologies

  • Experience working with direct customer interfaces, both internal and external
  • Experience developing and implementing execution, coordination, and growth strategies for franchise programs

  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a matrixed environment and build cross functional relationships
  • Ability to interpret and manage to program requirements, statements of work, and supplier commitments

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary programmatic point of contact for the Auxiliary LRUs part of the EMD program, which includes several major subcontractors and an internal supplier
  • Provide contractual direction for the execution of LRU subcontractor scope in conjunction with subcontract managers
  • Account for profit and loss, Estimate at Completions (EACs) inputs of the Auxiliary LRUs control accounts as part of the Niagara Falls EMD program
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with supplier and customer counterparts
  • Manage risk, opportunity, cost, quality and schedule performance for all Auxiliary LRUs control accounts
  • Present program data, challenges to program and mission area leadership on critical briefings
  • Coordinate preparation and assure timely completion of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables across the multi-functional team
  • Coordinate with the Pod System Program Manager and Operations and Support Lead to ensure alignment of schedule, CDRLs, dependencies, resources, and risks across the entire program
  • Travel to supplier and customer sites (up to twice a month)
