About the position

The Associate Director of Product Management at Precision Medicine Group is a leadership role focused on overseeing the product management of a SaaS-based solution for sample inventory operations and biomarker data analytics. This position involves defining the product vision, creating strategic roadmaps, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to enhance product offerings. The role requires a deep understanding of clinical operations and biomarker data, as well as the ability to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Research and determine client and market needs for a SaaS-based sample inventory operations and biomarker data analytics product.
  • Create and manage a visual representation of the product vision around clinical sample and biomarker data analytics.
  • Assess current product and platform, identifying key components and features needed to satisfy the product vision.
  • Analyze the technical landscape to incorporate AI features for sample inventory analytics.
  • Define and create strategy around descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics for the product.
  • Create product roadmaps by decomposing the product into components and mapping features to end-user benefits.
  • Lead product grooming sessions with development teams and manage the product backlog.
  • Define and manage metrics framework for measuring product goals and user satisfaction.
  • Conduct periodic stakeholder meetings to provide updates on product strategy and releases.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of business analysts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bioinformatics and/or clinical operations.
  • Strong experience in solutioning around processing and analytics of clinical operations data and biomarkers data.
  • Proven track record as a subject matter expert in clinical operations and/or biomarker data.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.

  • Experience in product management of building SaaS platforms.
  • Experience in creating product strategy and roadmaps.
