Responsibilities

• Lead Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the sterility assurance consumables portfolio, aligned with the overall company business goals and market trends within the healthcare sector.
• Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis within the healthcare market, focusing on CSSDs in hospitals, dental facilities, and independent medical facilities.
• Product Development & Commercialization: Lead and manage the product development process for new and existing sterility assurance consumables.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.
• Customer Engagement: Understand the unique needs of healthcare customers and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Sales & Marketing Support: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop effective product positioning and marketing materials.
• Financial Management: Develop and manage product budgets, track product revenue and profitability.
• Team Management & Development: Lead and mentor a team of product managers, scientists, and technical specialists.
• Scientific Leadership: Lead scientific endeavors and product/process improvements across the SDC portfolio.
• Custom Products & Services: Lead the development of a scientific affairs team into an industry-leading organization.
• Acquisition & Partnerships: Lead role in acquisitions, licensing, and partnering to meet strategic objectives.
• Industry Representation: Represent SDC in relevant healthcare conferences and trade shows.
• Government Tender Processes: Develop a strong understanding of government tender processes for purchasing goods and services.
• Operational Excellence: Establish Standard Work and model personal Lean Philosophy 5S behaviors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology) or Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of global or regional product management experience, ideally within the healthcare industry.
• Minimum 2 years of direct experience managing a team of product managers within a healthcare-focused product management organization.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., Medical Device, BioPharma, Healthcare).

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree (MBA) preferred.
• Previous experience working with government tender processes within healthcare.
• Experience working with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs).
• Experience with specific regulations relevant to healthcare sterilization.
