Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, prescribe, and carry out oral health care services in the best interest of the patient.

• Uphold policies, protocols, and procedures in compliance with accepted professional standards.
• Improve clinical skills through participation in continuing education and training opportunities.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives as necessary.

Requirements

• DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
• Current, valid state license to practice dentistry in good standing or eligible for licensure.
• Preferred two years of practice experience.
• Other certifications as required by state, including CPR and DEA.
