Join us for a career that changes lives. Become a Clinical Specialist at Medtronic, with a training pathway into our EP Mapping Specialist role. You’ll provide technical, clinical and sales support, in collaboration with the sales team, within the region or assigned territory in support of the launch and adoption of the EP mapping and navigation system (Affera) and all products within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) business. Cardiac Ablation Solutions offers cardiac mapping and ablation solutions to treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms. Our vision is to help patients worldwide by advancing innovation for the diagnosis and ablation of cardiac arrhythmias, enabling clinicians to perform procedures with superior outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Represents Medtronic CAS during ablation procedures to provide troubleshooting and other technical assistance.
  • Receives technical inquiries by customers and researches solutions to questions or problems.
  • Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters relating to AFS products and related procedures.
  • Conducts one-on-one training sessions and in-service education programs.
  • Assists RM and field training department in educating/training new Clinical Specialists and Account Managers.
  • Provides training and resources for hospital staff to enable them to conduct training for their personnel.
  • Updates sales representatives concerning procedures and notifies Account Manager regarding issues or problems requiring follow-up.
  • Serves as effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service, and support.
  • Promotes the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
  • Understands national, regional, and territory sales objectives and works in partnership with Account Manager to achieve and exceed goals.

Requirements

  • Spring 2025 undergraduate degree in nursing, life sciences, or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Ability to work in the US without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Pacing school/ATI-like training program in addition to Basic Qualifications.
  • Proven track record with technical training assignments.
  • Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support.
