About the position

As an Associate Client Executive I at Thomson Reuters, you will manage and nurture Growth Accounts within the Tax & Accounting segment. This role focuses on clients with mid-tier product spend, aiming to transition them into High Value Accounts through proactive account management and personalized attention.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of Growth Accounts, focusing on retention, increased usage, and account expansion.
  • Conduct semi-annual business reviews with clients to assess their needs, address concerns, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Implement strategies to increase product adoption and usage among existing clients.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell within the assigned account base.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and engagement levels, addressing any issues promptly to ensure retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues and ensure smooth product implementation and support.
  • Utilize data analytics to track account performance and identify trends that could lead to increased spend or usage.
  • Strategically drive cross-sales and upsells within Growth Accounts, with the goal of increasing their overall spend to transition them into the High Value Account (HVA) tier.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and account status in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about product updates, industry trends, and tax regulations to provide valuable insights to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in account management, client relations, or sales, preferably in the software or professional services industry.
  • Basic understanding of tax and accounting processes and software solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients at various levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently and effectively.
  • Basic data analysis skills and the ability to translate insights into action plans.
  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
