About the position
The Associate Attorney position at W3Global Inc is designed for a motivated and dedicated individual with 0 to 3 years of experience in law. This role offers the opportunity to work across various practice areas, including family, criminal, and civil law, while developing essential litigation and negotiation skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in handling a diverse caseload in family, criminal, and civil law matters.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Participate in client meetings and maintain effective communication with clients.
- Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and administrative hearings.
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trials.
- Review and analyze case files to provide detailed recommendations and solutions.
- Stay informed of changes in relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Rhode Island, or pending bar admission; admission in MA is a plus.
- 0 to 3 years of experience in family, criminal, or civil law preferred.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
