About The Position

We are seeking an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to represent clients in a wide range of insurance defense and civil litigation matters, including personal injury, premises liability, and automobile liability claims.

Requirements

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Active Georgia Bar membership (or ability to obtain promptly).
3-4 years of litigation experience, with insurance defense preferred.
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
Professional communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Manage all phases of the pre-litigation and litigation process.
Maintain contact with and update clients on cases and advise clients.
Draft/review pleadings and motions.
Conduct and prepare discovery and motions.
Handle hearings, depositions, and mediations, as well as negotiate settlements.
Provide legal analysis and strategic recommendations to clients and insurers.
Collaborate with partners to ensure efficient case management and excellent client service.
Track time and expenses and other administrative functions related to the practice of law.
