The role is part of a renowned Global Finance team that represents a diverse portfolio of clients, including major asset managers and leading CLO underwriters, and is recognized for its exceptional structured credit practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide counsel on a wide variety of structured finance and securitization matters, with a specific focus on CLOs.
- Represent a diverse array of clients, including asset managers, equity investors, and underwriters, in structuring and executing intricate financial transactions.
- Collaborate with a globally dispersed team to offer cutting-edge legal services in the structured finance and capital markets arena.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while delivering innovative financing solutions to clients.
Requirements
- Hold a JD from a highly regarded law school with excellent academic achievements.
- Active membership in the Massachusetts Bar Association.
- At least 2 years of significant experience in securitization and structured finance, or transactional experience with a strong interest in transitioning to CLOs.
- Prior exposure to private credit, CLOs, fund finance, NAV-based facilities, or subscription line credit facilities is preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in a large law firm is strongly preferred.
