About the position

The Associate Attorney position focuses on bankruptcy, commercial litigation, and real estate law within a well-established law firm in Trenton, NJ. The role offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for a balance between in-office and remote work. The attorney will engage in direct client interactions and courtroom proceedings, contributing to a diverse practice area while fostering strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Work on bankruptcy matters, commercial litigation, and real estate/transactional work.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
  • Draft legal documents, including motions and contracts.
  • Interact with clients and adversaries directly.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in commercial litigation or real estate/transaction work.
  • Admission to the New Jersey bar required (PA and/or NY admission a plus).
  • Strong legal drafting, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills.
