About the position

The Associate Analyst - Flood Insurance role at Ally Financial involves administering the Commercial Auto Flood Insurance program, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidance, and managing the appraisal review process. Responsibilities

  • Administer the Commercial Auto Flood Insurance program by ordering flood determination forms and providing direction on flood insurance requirements.
  • Review flood insurance policies for compliance with regulatory guidance and Ally policies.
  • Renew flood insurance policies in accordance with regulatory guidance and prepare flood reporting.
  • Administer the appraisal review process by sending completed appraisals for review and communicating results to the RBC.
  • Perform complex research and analysis to support business operations and present findings to management.
  • Assist in drafting, interpreting, and administering operational policies and procedures.
  • Develop, validate, and maintain training materials and step-by-step instructions.
  • Monitor performance to identify and correct performance problems and provide feedback.
  • Bring compliance issues and proposed solutions to the attention of management.
  • Manage the Flood Administration process to ensure compliance with instructions and policies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in customer service or financial services industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline preferred.
  • Knowledge of Flood Insurance Regulations is a plus.
  • Ability to perform technical-based activities and leverage technical expertise to drive business results.
  • Proficiency in producing documents, spreadsheets, and databases using Windows-based software.
