About the position

The Business Systems Analyst Associate role is designed to support discovery workshops with business stakeholders, document technical specifications, and designs within an agile environment. This position is crucial for requirements gathering, gap and data analysis, and serving as a key point of contact for business stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and project alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Support requirements gathering and discovery workshops with business stakeholders.
  • Assist business partners and product owner in creating system requirements for the product backlog.
  • Perform gap and data analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Provide functional clarification and set expectations with technical team members and clients.
  • Document requirements, create specifications, wireframes, change requests, test cases, user guides, and strategy roadmaps.
  • Execute test cases and ensure overall quality of solutions.
  • Assist business partners with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Facilitate system requirements meetings with product teams.
  • Respond to system anomalies like performance or vulnerability alerts and partner with respective teams for remediation.
  • Address inquiries from business partners and support calls/tickets escalated by help desk.
  • Author and maintain a knowledgebase for effective resolution of repetitive requests and inquiries.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis for system-related incidents.
  • Understand and adhere to IS change management policies for release management.

Requirements

  • Experience in business systems analysis and administration.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Ability to gather and document requirements effectively.
  • Experience in performing gap and data analysis.
  • Proficient in creating specifications, wireframes, and test cases.
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate meetings and clarify requirements.

Nice-to-haves
