About The Position

The Restaurant/Dining Room Supervisor will manage a team of food service professionals and will be responsible for the overall supervision in the assisted living dining areas. Glenaire is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) with a mission "to honor God by enriching the lives and touching the hearts of those we serve." They are looking for individuals with a strong skillset combined with a heart for service, enthusiasm to provide exceptional care, and a desire to build relationships.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory/leadership experience required
  • Must be available to work weekends

Responsibilities

  • Oversees dining services operations of our assisted living apartments
  • Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain interdepartmental relations and integrating the dining service department with the facility plan of operation.
  • Manage & Lead dining room supervisors and 40+ hourly employees.
  • Works with the Chef and management team in providing top quality food.
  • Assists in the responsibility for all food service-related activities and be primarily involved in meal services in a seated dining room setting, including quality improvement, sanitation, infection control and all facility-related activities.
  • Interviews, hires, trains and coaches employees.
  • Plans, assigns, and directs job duties.
  • Participates in employee meetings, reviews and development.
  • Ensures the food offered to the residents and employees is of excellent quality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
