About the position

The Assistant Volleyball Coach at Labette Community College is responsible for promoting and implementing the volleyball program while creating a supportive learning environment for student-athletes. This role involves counseling student-athletes through various challenges both on and off the court, and requires attendance at all games and practices during the season.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the promotion and implementation of the volleyball team.
• Create a pleasant learning environment for student-athletes.
• Counsel student-athletes in everyday crises on and off the floor.
• Attend all games and practices during the season.

Requirements

• Associate's degree required.
• Valid driver's license for travel.
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of volleyball.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.

• Two years of playing or coaching experience.
