About the position

The position manages graduation and degree audit operations, overseeing the administration of production jobs and providing technical support for systems related to academic structure, graduation, and degree audit. The role involves recommending and implementing methods to improve the quality of production and ensure efficient operations. The individual will work collaboratively with others on the Registrar's Office management team to provide strategic planning, execution, delivery, and oversight of programs and activities associated with the Registrar's Office. Additionally, the position provides strategic leadership, training, and guidance to assigned staff, while also performing other functionally related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Manage graduation and degree audit operations.
  • Oversee administration of production jobs and technical support for systems related to academic structure, graduation, and degree audit.
  • Recommend and implement methods to improve the quality of production and ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with the Registrar's Office management team for strategic planning and execution of programs and activities.
  • Provide strategic leadership, training, and guidance to assigned staff.
  • Perform other functionally related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, information technology, liberal arts, social science, education, or related fields.
  • Three (3) years of experience in education or related administrative experience in areas such as registration and academic records, transfer and articulation, degree requirement certification, academic advising, or degree audit.
  • Experience in administrative software and enterprise systems administration, including running and troubleshooting production jobs and systems technical support.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree preferably in business, information technology, education, liberal arts, social science, or related fields.
  • Experience coordinating complex production processes and developing and implementing changes to improve an automated production environment.
