CCC's Assistant Superintendents work side by side with Site Superintendents to ensure quality work and a great experience for clients, communities, and co-workers. This role offers coaching and the opportunity to eventually supervise and lead construction projects. The Assistant Superintendent will manage and oversee all on-site activities safely and efficiently, help prepare construction schedules, and manage job site resources. Problem-solving skills are crucial to keep projects on schedule and ensure timely delivery. Documentation in software systems is key to keeping all parties informed of project progress. Responsibilities include reviewing shop drawings, ensuring project specifications for materials and equipment are met, monitoring project expenditures, and identifying variances to meet construction budgets. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining safe work environments, and the role involves contributing to safety plans and initiatives. The Assistant Superintendent plays a vital role in the final stages of a project, including scheduling, coordinating, and completing the punch list, enabling owners to take occupancy.
